The Finishing Stage of this multi-units in Reservoir Hill/ Baltimore / Mc Culloh part 6
This is such an exciting phase of the renovation process. This triplex in the Reservoir Hill neighborhood in the city of Baltimore is finally ready for the final stage.
After passing different inspections, walls are closed and painted. Because this building is intended for rental purposes the floors, fixtures, and appliances have been chosen in terms of durability and easy maintenance.
The floors are LVT made from PVC-based materials, it’s incredibly tough and water-resistant. Because of this, LVT often has longer warranties and is generally quieter and warmer underfoot when compared to laminate floors. Carpet in only the bedrooms gives a warmer touch to this room.
Countertops are granite or quartz in the kitchen and bathroom. By offering higher quality countertops it gives a beautiful kitchen and bath to tenants while offering an easy-maintenance surface.
Backsplashes are also added to our rental to facilitate the cleaning of the kitchen. Not only does the kitchen look finished, but it’s also easily clean.
Showers and floors in the bathrooms are all tiled to ensure a continuity of style and easy future maintenance.
Extra storage space is available to tenants in the common area of the basement where they can store larger items.
We’re excited to have completed this project, revitalizing this neighborhood one house at a time is Akin Developers mission.
